Bodybuilding supplements are nowadays becoming more and more common among the people especially the youth. Every single male feels complex if another person comes in front of him having more bulky muscles than himself. So in order to compete in the race of looking good, every person these days is trying to build muscle mass on his body. This too is done by the shortest possible way by them by adopting these bodybuilding supplements. These supplements carry out the basic function of building muscle mass of a person's body, reduce the time to recover after an intense workout and increase the time period for which a person's body can tolerate the intensity of a particular workout session. These bodybuilding supplements are very useful if used in a controlled manner. However these supplements are associated to many myths which must be cleared by telling the actual facts.

The most common myth that people come across about these supplements is that these products are dangerous. But the fact is that these are not at all dangerous if taken in proper and controlled dosage. But if they taken in excess then they may cause damage to various systems of our body and can even cause death of the user also. Some people also think that these supplements are illegal. But the fact is that these products are not at all illegal but for some organizations like the Olympics, FIFA, ICC etc they are illegal. These organizations do not want any discrimination among the athletes. As a result of this, they have banned the usage of any kind of supplements. If they were illegal by the government then they would not have been selling openly on the internet and the common market.
